Some things you may want to know about me:
- I am a Christian. I believe Jesus is God’s son, sent to us to be our sacrifice for the sin that has infiltrated our lives through the original sin in the Garden of Eden. I believe Jesus is the messiah that the Jewish people have been searching for based on the way His life adheres to the many prophecies written in the Old Testament (or Torah.) Since there are an adbundance of materials that prove my points, I will not spend time debating it on this blog.
- I am fiscally conservative. I think George W. is the right leader for us now, but he spends money like he’s a Democrat afraid of being called Republican.
- I am torn about social issues. For instance, I believe abortion is as wrong as murder. However, it is a right that has been granted to Americans, whether good, bad, or indifferent. I do not believe making abortion illegal is going to stop people from killing innocent babies. I also do not believe picketing clinics where abortions are performed. The woman approaching the clinic has enough on her mind without a bunch of evangelicals telling her she’s making the wrong choice.
- I am willing to debate any individual issue posted on here. I will not tolerate blanket arguments like “Christians are dumb” or “abortionists are murderers”. If you find yourself in these camps, please visit somewhere else.
